This week, someone mentioned the following during our conversation: "Many people don't like the Pastor of their church". I think what s/he really mean is: Compared to other brothers/sister in the Church, Pastor is less likable because Pastor is usually more serious. Not as fun in another word.
I don't really agree. I kind of like all the Pastors I know. Although some of them is very serious and not at joking, but I still like them. I think that's what a church leader suppose to be. We go to church because we want to worship our Lord and learn to be like Christ. That's the top priority. Of course having fun is a big plus!
P.S. "Someone", please correct me if I misunderstand your statement ...

Good to see that Sammy Cafe is submissive and for the chosen leaders of God.
It is very bad to speak against pastors (esp the pastor of the church that one attends). This is an act of destroying the unity that is established by God (refer to Ephesians). The negative words will gradually spread out like poison to destroy unity throughout the church.
It's a gift of God to our church that we all love dearly our pastor very very much. We share the deepest of our thoughts and livings together, and we fully support our pastor, even at times when she fails. Just yesterday, I had a casual drink with her, and we were thinking of our lives. She shared that it's really amazing to have such a supportive church that would go for her even at times she fails.
The atmosphere at our church is that we have no "hierachy gaps". So, pastors are fun, their seriousness is reflected in hoow they follow to live like Jesus, seriousness is not reflected in how one speaks or how one gets along with the church memebers. We are also very "transparent" to share our lives... We know the ugliest part of our pastor, and our pastor knows the ugliest part of us. That pulls us together more.
We christians should never fall into the trap of becoming "consumers" of the church. Consumers can say whether they LIKE OR DISLIKE a product or service, consumers can have the say to CHOOSE which product or service they like, consumers can JUDGE the quality of a product or service. But we are not consumers, we are ONE FAMILY. We are part of the family, and we MUST TRY OUR BEST to create unity and love.
When one says he dislikes the pastor, he is actually not simply saying that "i dislike the pastor", but his words mean "i dislike the decision and election of God". This is written in Romans 13:1-2
"在上有權柄的、人人當順服他．因為沒有權柄不是出於 神的．凡掌權的都是 神所命的。所以抗拒掌權的、就是抗拒 神的命．抗拒的必自取刑罰。"
